I made confirmed reservations at this property 2 months ago for a suite (king bed, pull out sofa, and larger room) Upon arrival I was informed that there were only 2 such rooms and both of them had been given to other guests. No apology. They just kept repeating too bad, we don't have that room. I suggested they provide me with 2 smaller adjoining rooms for the same price. The desk agent made a call to the manager who agreed that would be a good solution. So, a very negative situation resolved in a positive manner. The hotel itself is very run-down and in disrepair. Our room was clean and comfortable, but the wallpaper was peeling off the wall and there was mold. I come here every year to watch a dog show, and I noticed that many of the exhibitors were now staying elsewhere. The restaurant on the premises is surprisingly good for lunch and the staff is great!
