Our time in Tavernes de la Valldigna
everything was as offered, a nice apartment with views of the sea
We had the pleasure of being met by the owners parents.
They spoke no English, Us no Spanish but they were a very delightful welcoming couple and showed us around the flat .Its comfortable in a quite area of town
The better beaches and restaurants are about 1/2 a mile away but no real inconvenience with that.
Around the flat you have varied scenery, one way beaches and sea, another the Mountains. It was always a pleasure to have breakfast on one of the 2 large verandas in the sunshine.
Valencia city itself is not far away
I was confused by the payments, I made initially I paid website price for for 7 nights
but later was charged another Fee by the owner
I assumed this was a deposit in case of damage, but I was told this was a charge for consumption and cleaning
so we paid it as already committed to the holiday
We did leave the flat clean and do not think we used much energy or water , but maybe I didn't understand properly
So yes I would recommend but do clarify extra costs first
