on your next visit to the Mount, please try pilot bay (harbour side) there is a more gradual slope to the beach and in the waves.

Hermoso hotel para visitar una hermosa ciudad.

Pros: La ubicación y el personal.
Contras: Faltan percheros en el baño, para colgar los toallones en uso.
Lugar: Tiene una ubicación privilegiada, rodeada de lugares para comer con vista a la playa. Se puede acceder a hacer la caminata alrededor del Monte.
Mount Maunganui es una ciudad hermosa, para visitar. El hotel está ubicado en una zona estratégica, muy cerca de la playa. Las instalaciones son muy confortables, aunque me hubiese gustado que me asignaran alguna habitación frente a la playa.

Thank you for your review. We are very happy with were we are situated, so close to all Mount Maunganui has to offer. I'm sorry that we couldn't allocate a room with a bit of a view for you, on your next visit, please request a room with a view.

Great location and lovely book in staff. Needed a few repairs. Was comfortable and quite.

The location was amazing! Within a couple blocks you have the harbor or the beachfront; a few blocks down is a lovely park, lots of restaurants and shopping. Mt Maunganui hot pools and the mountain itself are right on your doorstep.
Our room was large, great balcony, bathroom, and kitchen.
I found that the front desk is not always manned, which is sometimes inconvenient. The drain in the shower was also a bit slow.

Really nice stay, nice big apartment. Easy checkin, great location for walking to beach, down to food spots or into town.
Few things that could make it better - towels are worn and not fluffy, could do with a upgrade, curtains were light and not blockout so street lights and lights from other buildings made it harder to sleep.
