Nestled in the Smoky Mountains on a secluded ridge with breathtaking mountain views, you will be “welcomed” to the gated Tekoa Mountain Resort. Escape city life at this Insta-worthy view bi-level spacious cabin. You are minutes to Gatlinburg /Pigeon Forge. Exploration is convenient to attractions, theme parks and hiking. With our binoculars, view wildlife from many species of birds singing, to the quiet grazing of white-tailed deer or maybe an occasional bear!!!🐻

The living room boasts high ceilings, a ceiling fan and open concept living to the kitchen and dining area. Not only do you benefit from the bountiful natural light, but you can also enjoy stunning views of the Smoky Mountains, the sun and surrounding forest from every rear facing window or sliding door in this space. Cozy up on several couches, catch an evening movie, or curl up on the porch bed swing with your favorite book on the first deck steps from the living area.! We have Dish TV here with 190 channels for you to enjoy and watch too! The warm seasonal propane log fireplace will add ambiance to your stay. Main level master with attached bath has easy access on the main floor.
The well equipped kitchen is designed to make you feel at home by providing everything you need to create delicious meals. You will be welcomed to start your day with a coffee-tea bar with starter supplies. Throughout your stay, you’ll benefit from the convenience of new appliances, a slow cooker, toaster, kettle, mixer, blender, Keurig, drip coffee pot, bakeware, pots and pans and more. New dishwasher to help you clean easily too. Bring your own spices to whip up a meal or two. Of course, you’re on vacation so you may want to hang up your chef’s hat occasionally! You’re spoiled for choice when it comes to tasty dining or takeout places near Melbeary View. Whether you decide to make full use of everything in the kitchen, or just fire up the coffee maker, it’s a beautiful space to be in.
As for dining you will love our new barnwood farm style spacious table that is ready for up to 8 people with a view of the mountains as you eat too. Mealtimes are sure to be a highlight of your stay! Also additional seating on the deck is just a few steps away.
Relax in the spacious room with mountain view’s main level master bedroom with the new pillow top king bed or unwind in the private jacuzzi tub for soaking your cares away in. Private access to the deck from your room is an added feature. Watch TV from your bed too! All bedrooms come with a sheet set, comforter, two-three décor pillows and two sleeping pillows on each bed. Access the deck from your private master sliding doors for romance and a view. A luggage rack is provided and a closet with hangers for storage. This room has a ceiling fan. We have a pack-n-play in the master closet too.
Off of the main level master is your master bathroom and tub/shower and double sinks. You also will enjoy the large soaker romantic tub in the master! Each bathroom comes with a starter roll of toilet tissue, pump hand soap and a trial size of bath soap, trial size shampoo, razor and makeup wipe. Each bath will have four towels, two washcloths and a hand towel.
Main level deck offers some of the best expansive views of the mountains and you will want to take pictures for family memories here! Tag us on our IG @Melbeary View so we can stay in touch with you. Also swing your cares away on the porch bed swing or sit and relax on the deck chairs as you take in the breeze and watch the ever changing views throughout the day. We offer a Blackstone electric griddle for cooking your favorite foods on this level and it is steps from your dining table. We provide scratch free cooking utensils for the griddle!
Lower level Den and Game Room is a fun space for all with relaxing seating, a foosball table, board and card games, a Retro arcade machine, Dish TV, Dvd player with Dvd’s, toys and books. Escape here on a rainy day or just some evening bonding with friends or family to create lasting memories. A Bonus Sleeping Twin Bunk Bed is located in the den for two additional people. Bunk comes with sheet set, comforter and one decorative and one sleeping pillow per bed. This is a great kids sleeping space.
Two Lower level bedrooms with TVs will welcome you with king pillow top beds in each. Our deer themed bedroom offers private access to the deck and also has a view of the mountains from your bed! All bedrooms come with a sheet set, comforter, two-three décor pillows and two sleeping pillows on each bed. Please bring any additional blankets if you are cold natured. We have a few throw blankets for décor. A luggage rack is provided and a closet with hangers for storage. These rooms have a ceiling fan.
Second Lower level bath provides double sinks and a tub shower combo. Each bathroom comes with a starter roll of toilet tissue, pump hand soap and a trial starter size of bath soap and shampoo, razor and makeup wipe. Each bath will have four towels, two washcloths and a hand towel.
Lower level stackable free washer/dryer for your convenience is offered. We do not supply detergent.
Lower level Deck welcomes you to soak your cares away in the hot tub as you take in the fresh crisp air and mountain views! A few hot tub towels are provided. Lounge chairs and a table for playing games as you take in the view are here too!😊

Roads to the cabin are fully paved with some curves and elevation, but not too difficult to drive in normal weather conditions. The view at the top is worth the drive!
