Under new management and refurbishment, unaware we had a booking, managed to accommodate us in rooms awaiting refurbishment. Facilities advertised by Hotels.com I.e. no Wi-Fi, on-site bar and restaurant permanently closed, no operational safe, no portable fans, no umbrellas, not near beach and no shuttle bus, no cleaning of rooms, no fresh towels or linen for 9 day stay. Major refurbishment/construction work ongoing which we were not advised of. The standard of decoration and finishes at poolside nit maintained. Whilst the new management were unaware of our booking tried their best to accommodate us, they claim they have not been paid by Hotels.Com. Photographs can be provided for above. Contacted Hotels.com during stay to lodge a complaint, Reservations did not make further contact after they were made aware of our situation. The holiday is not what Hotels.Com advertised and what we paid for, we will be requesting compensation for your sub-standard service.
