When I paid for my place to stay I get a confirmation numbers a telephone number and and address so when we get to Costa Rica the taxi company spent 2 hours and 30 min looking for the address and calling the phone number with no luck the take me to a hotel and a charge of $40 in the hotel we get access to my email where they had sent me the correct address and phone number two day we got there on April 5 but we left the USA April 1 they had 40 day before to send me correct info but no so I got screwed for the full payment that I got so please do not spent your time with this place That the last time I will mess with this company
and I am a 68 year old retired man and I save my SS for 3month to take this vacation Thanks for the bad info you gave me you should be ashamed of yourself

I am sorry that you were scammed by the taxi driver. We confirmed with VRBO that you recieved the correct address and telephone number. We are listed on several sites with dozens and dozens of positive feedback and have NEVER had any guests get lost, everyone has always arrived at our property safely with the same information that was provided to you. None of our guests have ever gotten lost as our directions and phone number are clearly listed. In this situation we never recieved a call from your taxi driver. In past situations some Uber or taxi drivers have called to confirm the address and have had no problems arriving at our place. Taxi drivers in Costa Rica often get comissions for bringing tourists to certain hotels. We are sorry that you were blatantly scammed by the taxi driver since we are located only 10 min away from the airport. As we suggested to you, you should have called and reported the taxi driver to the taxi company, maybe that way you could've gotten some of your money back. By the way, why would we send you the incorrect information in the first place?? What would we gain by doing that?? Again, we're sorry that this happened to you but there wasn't really anything we could do as you contacted us when you were already in the hotel.
