Harold Phillips is most accommodating He picked us up at the airport even though we were several hours late. Then went and found the rest of our group that had been dropped of at the wrong place. Close to airport with garage. Very nice.
Our family of 6 needed a place to stay for one night before an early morning flight out of San Jose the next morning. Once we walked into the house, we wish we had longer. Everybody has room to spread out. We played games that evening on the outside table contained within the walled courtyard that keeps out the breeze, but still giving you the outside ambience. Another plus is that we were able to walk to the market. There are also several restaurants within walking distance. While we never met Harold, he was very responsive to any and all requests. Great stay!
This house is the perfect location on that road. It was about a five min walk to Marriott where I had to commute from for my tours and less if I walked to the small market. This house is beautiful inside and out. I loved the views I had in the mornings especially. The house is huge! Oh and let's not forget the perfect view of a small moutain in the front of the house. It was very peaceful and I loved that I was next door to a very nice and delicious cafe! I stayed for 7 days and I felt safe the whole time. After touring and understanding the history of CR, I understand why the owner chose the pictures in the house. The owner made me feel more than welcome to contact him if ever there was a question or problem. He even offered his transport services to me! I will be coming back to stay here again. Thank you so much Harold it was a pleasure staying in your house. :)
