My review is neutral. I purchased a stay for Friday and Saturday. We drove 3 hours to this resort. A friend bought this trip for us from the USA. We received a confirmation email as well as withdrawal from credit card. We drove 3 hours there and they said we did not have a reservation. (Booked on hotels.com) - we were stranded with barely any money and sat in lobby for 3 hours from 0000 Saturday to about 0300 Saturday. The front desk lady would not assist. My friend tried to pay directly to her, give card over the phone, send PayPal, pay via link, or book the following day and asked her to move the reservation until today because we could not book it on the website after midnight Friday. She would not accommodate any of these booking methods and we were stranded three hours from home. We were able to put together enough money to stay at a hostel which was very unsafe. We arrived at the hotel the next morning to check in for our newly reserved Friday into Sunday trip. Check in is posted for 2 PM. We got to the hotel around noon and we’re not allowed to check in early however we were able to have lunch. When we arrived back at the desk at 1:30 PM we waited an hour and a half to check in to our reservation because they were very slow and did not have enough help. Other than these problems I listed the rest of our stay was wonderful the food was great and the resort was beautiful. They saw us desperate to find somewhere to stay and did not help this was upsetting.
