Palmetto Dunes 204 es un apartamento de 2 dormitorios, 2 baños, ubicado en 1011 S. Ocean Blvd. North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582 en la sección de Crescent Beach. We loved the location, it's great if you're someone who doesn't want all of the business on the beach but still like to be near the nightlife and attractions, condo is dated which isn't a big deal but when we first got there and opened the door there was such a terrible old musty smell that we immediately left and went to Walmart to buy air fresheners. I had to wash the extra blanket I found in the closet before I could even use it.

Didn’t realize there was no elevator. Major problem. No hair dryer, haven’t traveled anywhere in the last 15 years with no hair dryer. Otherwise the accommodation was good. Thank you

Great location but in desperate need of refurbishment!!
Great location and view but it is in a desperate need of refurbishment! Carpets need to be changed asap as it full of stains and damaged ,the mattresses are not comfortable at all. We still enjoyed our stay because of the view and location but we would not rent again.

Some things never change
Have to admit, the location and view are exceptional, but that's where it ends. The building and unit are very dated. Appears not a lot of money is reinvested. Whole unit is carpeted which gives off a bothersome musty smell. Bought a plug in at Walmart to get through the week. Kitchen cabinets and contents were quite dirty. Washed everything before we used it. Some items just need to be thrown away! Bathrooms were clean but presented water stained and peeling wallpaper, peeling vinyl baseboards, loose towel racks, etc. I never did unpack my clothing to put in the drawers. By that point, I was going to be cautious. Reading the reviews from 3 & 4 years ago are the same comments of today. It was just my husband and I so we managed. Young adults might have a problem. We did sleep well, though!

Condo on the beach
Condo smelled like it was recently cleaned and disinfected. The condo inside and out needs to be updated - it's definitely an older place and has a lot of wear and tear from years of use. (like water damage in bathroom, some areas of ceiling flaking, walls cracked, etc.) Given the amount of time we spent inside vs. outside on the beach we didn't worry about it.

Great location! I loved the balcony and access to the beach. The property wasn’t unclean, but the wallpaper and old couch gave the place a bit of an old lady feel. Even so, it was perfect for our family with kids ranging from 2-12.

Musty and Smelly- DO NOT RENT!
Location is great! That's about all. As soon as you walk in, the smell of must/mold and dampness takes over everything! Dishes in cupboards dirty with food on them. Any dishes you wash and put back in cupboards smelled like must and had to be washed before used again. We decided to purchase paper plates and cups to avoid this. Two rolls of toilet paper left for the week, two small bars of soap. Refrigerator does not keep food/drinks cold. Ceiling peeling, master bedroom door sticks. Entire condo needs updating especially bathrooms. Spending the amount we did for a week to stay here tore me up inside! You literally need to purchase everything because nothing that's there should be used. It felt like we were in a cabin with a beautiful view. Seaside Vacation girls were FABULOUS at check in and out. Now reading other reviews when I got home. I wish I would have called Seaside Vacations immediately. I truly don't believe this is a healthy place for anyone to stay, especially with children. We did lock our keys inside and the gentleman that came to our rescue was the sweetest!

Filthy NIGHTMARE
The unit was the worst condo I have ever booked at the beach in my life! Silverware with food stuck on, filth in the drawers that contained the silverware. There was a broiler pan in the oven with leftover grease and oil in the bottom. It spilled inside the oven when I pulled it out. The HVAC system had the wrong size filter in it that needed to be changed a long time ago. The guest bathroom door would not close, and the door catch on the master patio door was rusted so bad that it would not latch. All of these things were not discovered until we had unpacked and went to purchase groceries, so when Seaside offered another location, we had to repack our bags and reload the cars to move to The Verandas 1108 which was a great place even though it needs more comfortable living area seating.

Quick Vacation
This is an older property, that met our simple needs for a short vacation. The good points were the property location, view of the ocean and it was the right size for two people. The bed was very comfortable, but we would prefer something larger than a double. The negative points were that it smelled musty and the unit, due to its age, needs a facelift in the very near future. Also, it would be nice to have room darkening shades or curtains in the master bedroom as the morning light really iluminated the room.

Perfect beach condo!
This condo is right on the beach with easy access and a front row seat to a gorgeous view of the ocean. The condo itself was perfect for a family of four with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a generously sized kitchen and a perfect sized dining/living area. The deck is screened in which eliminates bugs and birds from harassing you as you hang out and listen to the waves. Impeccably clean and neat and well furnished.

Out dated with a musty moldy smell.
The place was very clean, kudos to whomever you all have doing the cleaning because they do a fantastic job! The View was beautiful and it was nice having a screened porch so you didn't have to deal with bugs. The people at the rental place were fantastic all very nice! Unfortunately that's all of the good comments I have. The whole place/building is outdated and kind of run down. The second we walked into the room the musty moldy smell took us over. That's probably due mostly to the fact that the whole place is carpeted. You have people coming straight in from the beach and pool and you have carpet...not a good combo. The beds were like sleeping on plywood with sandpaper sheets. The cable on the tiny TV in the twin bed room was spotty at its best and didn't work at most of the time, not good when that's the kids room and they want TV. We never tried the tiny TV in the master bedroom. No mention of the fact that no toiletries were provided, there was a bit of toilet paper on the roll in one bathroom and half a roll in the other and that's it. No shampoo, conditioner, soap, dishwasher soap or dish liquid. This wouldn't have been an issue had it of been mentioned somewhere. No mention of the fact that there are no elevators, for someone like me with COPD that would have been nice to know in advance, thank goodness we were only on the 2nd floor. The pool had a greenish hue to it and you couldn't even smell the chlorine which in a public pool I have never not been able to smell chlorine. We had a great weekend but with all of the places out there this is definitely one I wouldn't rent again.
