Lots of beds and space. It was clean, bright, spacious and very nicely decorated. The host was delightful and very responsive. We would definitely stay again.

Publicado el 28 sept. 2020 en HomeAwayCan't praise this home enough! We stayed here for 9 days for a film shoot in Staten Island and it was absolutely perfect. Big, clean, quiet and safe neighborhood. It was so nice to come home from a long day to such a beautiful home.
Yien and his family (who live in the house next door) were so kind. They were totally available for anything we might need, but also gave us our privacy and were extremely understanding of our production's odd work hours and schedule.
The neighborhood is super cute. Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Very convenient to all things Staten Island and only a short drive away from Brooklyn. Short drive from the ferry too, which takes only 25 mins to reach Manhattan!
Would highly recommend to anyone who is seeking accommodations for a large group of people for an event such as a wedding or film production. Kid friendly as well! Will definitely be renting this home again next time we are in SI for a shoot!!!

Far exceeded our expectations.
Publicado el 21 ene. 2020 en HomeAwayThis property met all of our needs. We wanted a place with real beds for all of our adults (7). We actually had more room than we needed. Separate bedrooms for couples and males and females. Two bathrooms with showers, a very nice and comfortable living space, dining room for 8. We really enjoyed it. We took public transport each day to Manhattan. The walk to the bus is very short and the bus goes to the ferry. Only negative is the steep hill to climb to get back home. It’s not a very long hill but was a bit challenging for my husband and me (in our late 50s). My grown children did it just fine. We had super comfortable beds, lots of towels, a very well equipped kitchen and all of the house was very clean. If you are looking for a place to call home while you visit Manhattan and able to escape the high price of lodging in the city, close and easy to get to the city, this is the place for you!

Went to New York to celebrate our niece’s 30th Birthday.

The only thing I could mention is that it is a 20 minute walk to the Staten Island ferry through not the best neighbourhood. We never felt threatened or uncomfortable but it is not the neighbourhood where you could find a nice restaurant or bar or take a stroll through in the evening. We took a taxi from the ferry to the house in the evening. Cost $10. Overall, an excellent place and I highly recommend it.

Great Staten Island Home away from home

The hosts Leon and Yien were very attentive and answered any questions we had. It was also very close to the Staten Island Ferry and other public transportation. I would definitely recommend staying here during your visit to New York.

Beautiful spacious home!
