Quiet, modern and clean, nice little cafe opening out to a great swimming pool, short walk to Iluka Park and Town Beach and fairly close to the Mackay CBD .... Best of all the price for a overnight stay is good value and quite competitive against other Hotels that don't present as well as Oceanside Central Hotel

Room pleasant, beds very comfortable, good air-conditioning. Dishes, cutlery and microwave provided, though strangely no toaster. Only downside - television reception hopeless.

WLAN funktioniert nur direkt an der eingangstür und dann nur sehr schlecht. Das Zimmer entsprach nicht unserer Buchung. Der Manager gab uns erst nach unserer Reklamation nur sehr unwillig ein anderes Zimmer. Er gab dabei Expedia die Schuld für die falsche Buchung. Wie das Hotel 4 Sterne bekommen hat ist mir völlig unverständlich.

The place is very clean looks like brand new and. worth every money,it is also close to the beach. The staff are all friendly. Overall a great place to stay. Highly recommended to all fellow travellers!

Location was a little far away for what we wanted. Excellent for a one night stay to get your head down and refresh before continuing your journey. Ideal for a cheap budget stay .
