Das Oxford Hotel Earls Court gibt es dort unter dem Namen nicht. Wir fragten, da wir den Eingang suchten, im Merit Kensigton Hotel … tatsächlich waren wir dort richtig. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und konnten ab 15 Uhr einchecken. Unser Gepäck wurde am Empfang solange aufbewahrt. Das Hotel besteht aus mehreren Häusern, wir waren in Hausnummer 24 untergebracht. Das Zimmer hatte ein sehr kleines Bad und zwei große Betten die durch einen Raumteiler der das tv (2 Geräte eins pro Seite und Bett) beinhaltete, getrennt wurden, wir waren zu dritt in dem Zimmer. Leider kein Schrank oder Ablagen, wir haben aus dem Koffer gelebt, vier Tage - Nachbar m. Es gab einen Wasserkocher und versch. Kaffee u. Teesorten, Milch u.Zucker zur Auswahl. Einen Kühlschrank u. Safe. Die Fenster konnte man ca. 20 cm öffnen, ebenso gab es eine Klimaanlage.Frühstück gab es im Keller ( mit Fenstern und Terrasse ) des Haupthauses. Es gab gekochte Eier, Rührei, Toast verschiedene Croissants, Brötchen, Speck, Bohnen, Marmelade, Honig, Wurst, Käse, Obst, Müsli, Kuchen und Muffins, Säfte, Wasser, Joghurt, Tee, Kaffee, Milch… wir haben immer etwas gefunden !
Einmal funktionierte die Zimmerkarte nicht, wurde ganz problemlos getauscht. Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Highlight: man steigt an der U-Bahn Station Earls Court aus und ist in drei Minuten im Hotel - perfekt an der Piccadilly line, auch vom Flughafen super zu erreichen in einer guten halben Stunde. Wir würden wiederkommen!

Perfect location near Earl’s Count underground station. The hotel is clean and fully equiped. No brainer for me, next time I will book here again.

Really good hotel, with fantastic breakfast!
Publicado el 22 nov. 2023 en HotelsWe were on a 5 day holiday in London and chose this hotel because the one we usually stay at is under renovation. We didn't regret it!
Our room could have been a bit bigger, but it was nice and clean with a nice size bathroom and everything else you need. A suggestion could perhaps be to get some hooks up behind the door, and also out in the bathroom, as there is only a single towel rail, but these are small things!
Our biggest challenge was getting two smaller duvets instead of a big one to share. It was a bit tricky, as the cleaners changed it every day, and when they finally succeeded, one of us had to sleep with a duvet without a cover. It went well enough, but next time it will hopefully go a little better ;)
All in all we were super happy with our stay!
We were especially excited about the breakfast! It was so delicious, and a large selection of both hot and cold.
Thank you very much for really good service when we needed help. We are already looking forward to the next time!

Newly updated. Very small room, but lovely bathroom/shower. I couldn't find the hotel at first, because the online site called it the Oxford, but there was no sign outside that said Oxford. It must have been bought by the Merit-Kensington recently. Thankfully, one of the staff were on the steps and I asked if they knew where the Oxford was.

3 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station, so really handy for getting around. It seems the hotel has just been recently refurbished so is immaculate with quality fixtures and fittings. Highly recommended.
