Best space for large groups
Publicado el 26 nov. 2019 en HomeAwayWe just had a weekend gathering with 5 families including 10 children and this home had enough space for everyone! Kitchen was fully equipped enough to even put together a Thanksgiving Feast and a table to seat 12! The island was perfect for the adults to gather and play games while the kids were gathered next to the fireplace playing board games. The pool room was a favorite space as well. The location was perfect for a quick hike even for the young ones and if we had snow would be super convenient for snow play or skiing. The spa was a great spot to defrost and unwind, and you really can’t beat the view from the deck.

Stunning views and comfy beds

Our family and friends enjoyed it.
The deck could have been larger, it cannot fit all the 18 people. And may be add chromecast or Roku so that we can watch some tv.

Publicado el 14 may. 2019 en HomeAwaygreat large cabin. Comes with a cool pool table. has a nice hot tub with amazing views of the mountains and can see skiers skiing down Sugar Bowl. One thing I forgot to mention to the owners was that the propane tank was empty and we had to purchase a new propane tank for the outdoor grill. Otherwise the stay was great. Has several rooms all of good size and two large master bedrooms with bathrooms. Large TV. large backyard that we and the kids turned into a sled run. One of the best things about this place is that it is right next to Sugar Bowl if you want to go skiing and close to the gondola. It is also within a short 5 minute drive to Donner Ski Ranch as well.

Wonderful house, wonderful host

Spacious and well equipped with something for everyone from the location next to the Sugar Bowl gondola, the relaxing hot tub ( with an unbelievable view), the pool table for the competitive types, the inviting kitchen /dining area and spacious bedroom and bathroom areas. When we had a minor plumbing concern, Sidney responded quickly and when one of us got lost on an unplowed road, Sidney volunteered to help immediately. Best ski house rental ever!!And, best host ever!!

Great convenient house for large group ski trip!
Publicado el 16 mar. 2019 en HomeAwayWe had a great time at Schull Lodge! The short walk to the Sugar Bowl Gondola was clutch, so everyone in our group could all go ski and return at their own pace. The common areas (living room, kitchen, dining table) were open and spacious, with plenty of room for a large group to hang out. Sidney was an excellent host, providing good information about our stay and was very communicative and helpful. The hot tub was WONDERFUL and an important part of each day at the lodge, after skiing. Great views of the mountains from inside and from the hot tub. The only very minor things I would point out are a general lack of decorations I typically see in a ski/mountain vacation rental house, and the somewhat awkward layout of some of the bedrooms - for instance, the outlets seemed a bit hard to reach in some cases, and at least one bedroom (master) did not have bedside lamps. Again, these are very MINOR items and would certainly not stop me from staying there again!

Fantastic Sugar Bowl rental property
Publicado el 13 mar. 2019 en HomeAwayWe loved our stay at Sidney's rental and hope to return next year. Easy Sugar Bowl access via the gondola, and the view of the mountain from the rental is hard to beat. Everything is set up well for a large group, and we highly recommend staying here.
