Wonderful Location
Publicado el 6 ene. 2024 en HomeAwayWe just came back from 5 nights at this cabin. It’s not fancy, but the location is perfect and the accommodations are comfortable. The woods are in your backyard, we had a blast sledding steps from the cabin. Plus an easy drive to ski resorts. It’s on a court so we felt very safe letting the kids play outside. Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again!

Getaway to the trees
Publicado el 26 nov. 2023 en HomeAwayAs returning guests, we enjoy the location and the cozy, well-equipped cabin very much. It’s fabulous to be able to start a hike right out the door with our dog and also to take a short walk to the beautiful lakes.

Beautiful, Serene Spot
Publicado el 27 jun. 2023 en HomeAwayThe house backs up to Royal Gorge on a cul de sac so it's very quiet. We made lasagna in the oven and fires in the wood stove. Everything worked nicely.

Cozy, Comfortable and Quiet Serene Lakes Cabin
Publicado el 27 feb. 2023 en HomeAwayWe stayed for an extended time at Julie's lovely cabin and really, really enjoyed ourselves. It was a perfect set up for a mix of adults and tweens. The wood fireplace kept us warm and cozy, and the beds were extremely comfortable. I think our favorite part of the cabin was the built in benches and big table - perfect for games, puzzles, family meals, and hanging out. And the access to Royal Gorge trails (you need a trail pass) literally right behind the cabin was fantastic too. Highly recommend - we hope to return!

A lovely spot
Publicado el 22 ene. 2023 en HomeAwayWe have rented this house three times and always enjoy it. If you are a gourmet cook and rely on certain kitchen implements, bring what you require. But other than that, kitchen is well-provisioned and house was very comfortable for family of 5.

Amazing location
Publicado el 19 dic. 2022 en HomeAwayStayed here for a weekend with friends. The location was perfect for XC skiing and snowshoeing, which was our reason to be there. Couldn’t ask for better. The space is larger than expected and the kitchen was fully stocked. Located on a quiet cul de sac. Super bonus that it’s a dog friendly house and that we were able to bring. Would definitely stay here again!
Ps. if you plan to ski with your dog at royal gorge check their dog policy. They changed it for 2022-2023 which was super disappointing.

Beautiful remote getaway
Publicado el 5 jul. 2022 en HomeAwayAside from difficulties with check in instructions we had a great time. Location is further from groceries and the actual lakes than one might think, but excellent for dog walks and hiking. Cabin is lovely, simple and comfortable.
