Massively understaffed. Waited 20 mins at front desk for because the person manning the bar was having to do everything. Kitchen closed at 8:30pm despite advertising 24h room service, presumably due to staff shortages again.
They need a maintenance person on staff to take care of damaged walls, broken extractor fans, dodgy lightbulbs etc. Lots of little issues that detract from an otherwise pleasant property.

Staff were amazing, food fabulous, great location, beautiful hotel, within easy driving distance to surrounding sites

Lovely hotel and perfect for anyone wanting a break in the beautiful New Forest. Pool didn’t have any loungers to chill out and it was a bit shabby but wasn’t why we booked the hotel so that was fine. Room was great. Could connect to our Netflix account and the big bed was so comfy! Really lovely helpful staff too

I like the friendly, helpful staff, the ambience, and the location which is quiet but very close to the centre of Lyndhurst. I've now been three times and intend to go again.
It would be good if they added a cheaper continental breakfast as well as the full breakfast menu.
