Even With Confirmation Number, No Room

I made a reservation two weeks in advance and received a confirmation number which I took with me for check in. When I went to check in I was informed that no rooms were available. I had to trailer my boat and head 100 miles back home. Management blamed Hotels.com and Hotels.com blamed management. Either way my trip was ruined and I drove 200 miles for nothing. Confirmation number meant nothing, buyer beware! All attempts to call Hotels.com went to their foreign assistants, whose English and understanding were lacking. A waste of time!

The property does not have any daily accommodations. I had to drive to the next town and was fortunate to get the only room available for a much higher rate.

Expedia screws up

Booked the reservations thru expedia, two nights confirmed. Drove down to the resort and they told us they had no rooms, the hurricane destroyed them. No other options,left the area an drove to Miami an got a place to stay. My advice to everyone, don't trust expedia, call ahead, don't do like us an put our trust in expedia.now I wonder will I be charged for two nights stay that never happened.

Terrible Experience

I booked this "resort" for the location in the Everglades. We didn't get a chance to experience it, because when we arrived, we were told the hurricane wiped them out & they had no rooms available. Expedia was little to no help to us placing us at an overpriced motel room 45 minutes north with no discounts or credits issued.

Not worth the room price

A gallon of paint, $100 in new carpet, and some wall paper paste would go a long way for these rooms. Stained. nasty carpet, rooms not painted in 20 years, broken kitchen cabinets, and a bathroom not fully cleaned in years. The room should be $25, not $119+. But actually nice RV park with nice pool.

Reservation not hononred

Our confirmation was not honored by the hotel. The man was rude and said that just because travelocity confirmed, doesn't mean that they do. I would never trust this resort.

motel matig..De rest top

Het motel zelf is aan een update toe. Het is netjes maar links en rechts oogt het oud en versleten. Het motel zelf heeft topfaciliteiten als een redelijke grote moderne gym en zwembad. daarbij een heerlijke jacuzzi. De omgeving is super. Vooral als ie met een kano of Kayak de thousand islands wil verkennen. Toen we aan waren gekomen bleek de airco kapot. we konden kiezen voor korting of we mochten verder kijken en als er niks te vinden was in de omgeving alsnog terugkeren. we kregen door het airco probleem wat gratis flessen water, wat snacks en anti mug lotion. Veel oudere maar zeer aardige mensen op het resort
