Lovely gardens and pools, with 5 lovely monkeys. Good service from owners, friendly. Beds are a bit uncomfortable. Food was OK

We did not have hot water that I could deal with the next day we went on an excursion it was great until we got back to the lodge only to find out that a tree knocked out the power there was no emergency lighting it was pitch black you couldn’t see anything
I have an infection in my leg that needs regular bandage change we had to move we still had2 nights left the owner refused to give ma credit we had to relocate in the city and pay another hotel for those nights my advice do not book there how can someone expect to stay where there is no power
Another thing we booked a tour with his son for another day no one showed up we waited 2 hours like fools not happy at all

Absolutely loved my stay at monkey lodge. The hosts were great. The property was so wonderful. The property is close to many national parks for hiking and other activities. It was the highlight of our trip to Panama. Would recommend 100% if you are looking for that real rainforest experience.
