An absolute delight. The room is above the garage block and accessed by an external staircase so you have your own private entrance. As well as a king sized bed there are two chairs and a coffee table. Another table holds a kettle and large selection of drinks, mugs and cake on arrival! The dressing table was decorated with fresh flowers and also had a little decanter of port. It was Easter so there were gold chocolate eggs too.
Look out for the information folder too which lists local pubs and things to do, alongside a history of the village.
The luxurious bathroom features a walk-in rainfall shower.
All the decorations and bed linen are of a very high standard.
Breakfast is served in the main house and was wonderful. Croissants, toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, juice, a choice of tea and coffee and then both full English and vegetarian cooked breakfasts were available. I had given advance notice that I am vegetarian and asked if it would be possible to have soya milk and both these requests were catered for. Chocolate Easter bunnies decorated our place settings too!
I must mention the delightful garden which was a joy.
We will definitely stay here again when we make another visit to Duxford.
