I knew i wad in for an adventure when the sat nav in my car could not find the nearest village to the hotel but the effort was worth it. After driving down one track lanes and up through the wooded hills I found ut. A one thousand year old it.

Rural peace off the GPS
Publicado el 17 sept. 2021 en HotelsInitially tricky to find but very comfortable overall in a beautiful and peaceful location. We ate at a local agritourism restaurant called C’an Beneit in nearby Bilabona which was superb.

Disclaimer: New management since may 2021 and renaming of the hotel from es castell to petite mare. Don't count on old comments. Amazing authentic finca located at the roots of tramuntana. The site is wonderful and well maintained, just relaxing quiet garden and pool area. The rooms befit the finca's style but offer everything you need. The staff is just simply lovely, perfect service, and takes care of all you need. Spot is well situated to explore the island, but a rental car is recommended. If you look out for a place to relax and feel more than home, do it.

Accueil et hospitalité de la propriétaire laissent à désirer, pas vraiment super sympa, contrairement au personnel espagnol, qui elles font de leur mieux pour etre agréables. Un frigo dans la chambre serait le bienvenu. Repas du soir très bon mais service presque absent.

Herrlich und Herzlich wird man hier empfangen und umsorgt! Ein schönes Hotel in wundervoller Lage mit tollem Ausblick! Die Zimmer sind sehr gemütlich und schön eingerichtet, das Frühstücksangebot sehr groß und abends kann man sehr gut auf der Terrasse a la carte essen.
Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Le logement était sale (salle de bain notamment) et le service des personnes sur place est exécrable (Selwa)

Welcome to paradise!
The vibe and surroundings here is just perfect. 100% Mallorca style with amazing views from both garden and our suite. Pssst… ask for the suite with the terrace!
We did 6 nights here and the 3 first ones we were alone. So all focus was on us and service was great.
What brings it down to only an 8.5 is that when more people came the breakfast wasn’t as constant, I.e they replaced the fresh squeezed orange juice with bottled and not enough staff to attend you. Same with pool and garden service. You had to wait a lot.
Also the premises needs some polishing and fixed, I.e the pool - but they are working on that and when done this will be a 10!
However.. it was worth it and I will definitely come back with my family and do another week. Because the fresh mountain air, even in august, mixed with the beautiful setting and traditional finca style is exactly what I was looking for. In 30min you’re at amazing beaches, 10min amazing restaurants and in 40min you’re in Palma.
Go go go. It’s a must!
