Fair price for a hotel
Indeed, it is not an expensive hotel but Holliday Inn had better locations, layouts and service. Did you know their restaurant is not open on Sunday and there is no other restaurant around? And the nighborghood not so fancy! Of course you can always take a cab. Maybe on sunday evenings the front desk is tired and not very helpfull. Though it was a no-smoking room, it was quite smelly. Well, best luck.next time.

downtown sac
The staff was very friendly and helpful, however there was mold in the bathroom that gave me the creeps. The neighborhood was mixed. There were some homeless people hanging around, but we never felt threatened. We were attending a play at 2:00 in the afternoon and could not get an early check in, so we had to change our clothes in a public bathroom. I’m sure that some people thought we were homeless.
