Great location
Nice hotel, nice lobby. Loved having a little suite. Good location with very easy access to Old Sacramento. Not close to food stores and not much of a shop in the hotel, so if you like having fruit or bottled water, bring it in from outside. Breakfast was included, good food but congested cafe for a buffet, poor layout, hard to manuver with trays. We enjoyed our stay and would go back if the occasion called for it, but maybe eat breakfast somewhere else.

Noisy Room
Since I was only staying one night, I didn’t get the "River View" - which was a mistake. The cheaper option is the "Freeway View" which is rather noisy even during non-commute hours. Noisy enough to disturb ones sleep even after coming back to the room late. On the plus side, the breakfast is great - one of the better ones I have had.

Must stay in Sacramento!
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Embassy Suites in Sacramento, CA. Great room , great hotel REstuarent, great view, and very nice town! The price was reasonable too! The restaurent had some very nice entrees and appetizers as well. Definitely would go back.
