The full price for this hotel is a joke but find a good deal as in half price and it is OK.

Nice rooms, fantastic pool, but poor service
I stayed at the Melia Benidorm for a long weekend. The rooms were very nice and clean, all with balconies facing the sea. The hotel pool was huge and very nice, but we noticed that most of the sun lounges were reserved with towels by 8am! There was some space available to sit on towels on the grass, which was ok. The pool side bar/cafe was good for drinks and small snacks like crisps, olives and nuts. They also had a small range of pizzas that did not look very appetising. The service there was extremely slow. The service at reception was also very slow and when we tried to arrange a late checkout nobody seemed to know how to do it or if it was even possible. The hotel was 10 mins walk from the beach, and 30 mins walk to the centre of Benidorm. Also 10 mins walk from the ’English’ area of Benidorm, which I would not recommend unless you like eating beans and chips for every meal and sitting on plastic outdoor furniture.

Hotel fantastico, un 4 stelle in tutto e per tutto. Ottima la cucina.
