Excellent hotel
The hotel was excellent in all respects. The room was large, the beds were great, personnel were friendly and helpful. The best part of the whole experience was the garden and the great food. We had very good Egyptian food several times. The local taxi drivers, who congregate just outside the gate, were courteous and reliable. The hotel’s location in the heart of the city made it very convenient to the Egyptian Museum and other areas that we could reach on foot. The traffic in Cairo, and the absence of croswalks, made foot travel a rather unnerving experience, but that was our choice.
