People friendly, and good service
Room was clean and service was on time. Breakfest was nice and service with a smile

Good location, but dumpy room
Pros: Good location -- right by the Amtrak station, one block away from Old Town Sacramento and the Railroad Museum, and a reasonable walk from the State Capitol, Crocker Art Museum, and a nearby outdoor mall. Expanded continental breakfast comes with the room, and there’s a 24-hour Denny’s next door. Room price was low. Staff was pleasant. Area itself was okay. Cons: Room very dumpy, like an old Holiday Inn room in the worst sense. Worn furnishings and carpet and bathroom fixtures. Not filthy, but not especially clean, either -- wore flip flops in shower. Very bad heating/cooling system. Some outside noise leakage from street and train tracks. Left my pack with front desk staff while sightseeing -- no check ticket given out, pack was kept on floor behind front desk, and when I got back later that day the pack was handed back to me without anyone questioning it one way or the other.
