Basic room, great breakfast
Hotel is easy walk to convention center. Rooms are a little worn, but comfortable. Breakfast was great -- waffles, eggs, sausage as well as the usual cereal and toast. Caution -- rooms can be noisy at night since there are a couple of bars close to the hotel and when they let out, people make a lot of noise on the street. Not much the hotel can do about this. Overall, a good value for the price.

Quiet, Clean, and Good Service
I always stay at the San Joaquin Hotel every time I travel to Fresno. The people are nice and so are is facility. I always ask for a room with a patio and one of the renovated ones. Its in a good part of town. The last time I stayed there, they gave me an older room that was missing headboard. Other than that, my stay has always been great.

This is a very functional hotel, right in the middle of downtown. Nothing fancy.
