Good location for Public Transport Oriented Galician Holiday
Great Hotel situated near shops and Bus & Train stations which made travel around the region both cheap and easy. Didn’t need to hire a car with this hotel. Shame about the weather in Nov 2009 but can’t blame the hotel for that.
Lugo - Great Wall but the rest of the town decaying Vigo - Nice Docks and Old Town area - good food Ferrol - Good but wet - Take secondary train service along Northern coast from here (FEVE, not RENFE) Santiago - didn’t go this time but good for Pilgrims. A Coruna - Walked from the hotel to the start of the tram around the peninsula. Took tram and walked back through the town. Never seen such massive waves splashing into the bay - awesome. Good city to be based in the area.

Well-situated, quiet hotel
Very well appointed hotel right next to major department store and easy access to centre. My room on 3rd floor at the side was very quiet at night. The hotel needs to spend some money on soundproofing rooms, however. People in rooms next to and above could be heard too easily.

Try the seafood and fish in La Coruña. Seafood is exquisite and fish of excellent quality. La Coruña has a lovely promenade, lots of cafes with terraces, nice shops and a wide variety of eating places. Lots of places of interest also, and the town hall is simply beautiful.
