Loved every minute!
We had a great room (studio) on the third floor. The room was sparkling clean every day; always fresh towels. The restaurant at the Reef makes great pizza! By the outdoor bar, you can rent kayaks, windsurfing equipment, paddle boards, etc. It’s so beautiful - loved every day and every minute of it!

A wonderful, restful vacation away from the thousands of cruisers!
I definitely recommend The Reef as a wonderful and peaceful getaway. It is on the East End of the Island so you are away from the hustle and bustle of Georgetown. The rooms all have great views and are very clean. The only negative room comment I might make is that in some rooms you share a balcony with another guest(s). The beach and pool are awesome! The management and concierge of the hotel are fantastic. The restaurant is okay - try to go on an evening when The Barefoot Man is playing - very entertaining. Breakfast now comes with the room rate - nothing special (coffee/fruit/cereal/pastries); however, there is a breakfast menu if you want to pay. Beach bar is nice!

Great East End Hotel and Vacation
Excellent place to get away from the crowds in Georgetown and 7 Mile Beach. A car is a must as the hotel is 45 -60 min away from the airport. Great access to the East End and North Side areas and beaches. Easy snorkeling off the dock. Beautiful uncrowded beach. Nice beach bar and the food is quite good. The staff is friendly and nice, helpful in planning activities. The timeshare pitch is very low key and there’s no pressure to join in a session. The facility is quite clean but the beach did have some "leftovers" from previous visitors. Not The Reef’s fault just nonthinking guests. We would highly recommend The Reef for a quiet and relaxing vacation. Skip the all inclusive feature and venture out to the local restaurants for a taste of Caymanian cooking. Also highly recommended to take a guided tour on the Mastic Trail with the National Trust to see Cayman Parrots in the wild, a mangrove snorke tour with Marni and Danny from Cayman Sea Elements and of course a snorkel with the stingrays at Stingray Ciry(we like Redsail Sports. Finally, spend some time at Rum Point and enjoy some snorkeling and smoothies from the Wreck Bar.
