Comfort, Great Value for Great Price and Location
It is a beautiful hotel located about a two minute walk from 7 mile beach. Beach chairs and towels are complimentary, and the service at the hotel pool bar is spectacular. Also, the complimentary breakfast by the pool every morning was a nice touch. We had some trouble with our air conditioner the first night, but they replaced the entire unit within 10 minutes of me alerting them to the problem the next day. The real deal with staying at the Sunshine Suites is the economically friendly pricing, while maintaining a great level of service, and still being located right by the beach. It is also right next to some of the most pristine hotels on the island, The Ritz and Westin, which can be used to guests advantage as well. The beach area that the Sunshine Suites leads you to is directly in front of the Villas of the Galleon which is not cluttered by people or an absurd amount of beach chairs, as is the case with the Ritz and Westin. So, the beach area that we were able to enjoy was excellent, and I knew it would be because I have stayed at the Villas of the Galleon with family several times. Also, the Sunshine Suites is decorated in a style that reminded me of a Tommy Bahama. The colors and decoration all give off a very good island feel. We were extremely happy with our stay and would recommend it to anyone looking to have an economically feasible trip at a great location with great service.

Great Value for a Clean, Quiet Hotel on 7 Mile Beach
Second time we have stayed at Sunshine Suites and we were even happier with it this time! Hotel is up-to-date with a fabulous, no-frills yet very comfortable and quiet hotel atmosphere. Great restaurant (open air, great food, casual), easy walk to the beach (even with a 21 month old), friendly staff, well manicured grounds, quiet rooms. Comp beach/pool towels, beach chairs, wireless internet, and parking. New linens and decor, comfortable beds, clean bathrooms, kitchen stocked with all the basic necessities for simple meal prep. Pool is on the small side, but we didn’t fly all the way to Cayman to sit by a pool with such a perfect beach just steps away! This is NOT the place to come if you are looking for a resort, romantic honeymoon, or room service....this is a simple and very nice hotel for an excellent value. Would highly recomend if you are looking for the later and hope we can visit again soon!

A Pleasant Suprise
The Sunshine Suites is a gem, We stayed for two nights at the end of our vacation to get a feel for the west side of the island. Just off the main drag across the street and a short walk from the larger name hotels and beach. They offer towels, beach chairs and a friendly staff. If you don’t want to walk over to the beach, relax by the pool or the well kept lawn area. The most pleasant surprise was the cafe - they serve up a mean burger (HUGE) and some of the best fish tacos we have had. Even though you are on island time the wait staff is quick with a smile and attentive. Our too short of a stay was nice and we will return on our next trip - Wear your sunscreen, most stores are closed on Sunday and make sure you look the OTHER way when you cross the street
