Perfect Hotel for Amsterdam Holiday
This hotel is perfectly located for a stay in central Amsterdam. It was a short train ride from the airport. You can skip the taxi and take the 4 euro train to Central Station, and the hotel is literally right across the street. The hotel is well maintained, and is way above the standards of an average European hotel. The location was within walking distance of the red light district, anne frank house, dam square, and several great restaurants. I was traveling with a friend and we had a 2 twin bed room. The beds were comfortable, the room was spacious with modern decor, and it was very quiet at night. We were there during the end of the summer holiday and there were quite a few partiers about, but we didnt here anything once in our room. The staff was extremely helpfull and courteous. I give this hotel my highest recommendation for a stay in central Amsterdam. For those who like greek food, try the greek tappas cafe just off of Zeedjik straat. The gyros were hands down the best I’ve ever had, and I have had many.

Location is a redeeming quality for this hotel
The hotel has a decent lobby and a separate restaurant and bar, also on the same floor. I was disappointed with the room that we were assigned. The room was not cleaned well; there were urine stains on the toilet. The furniture was very outdated as well - think 1980’s. Notably, the hotel was centrally located and although our room faced Central Station and was in a generally loud area, the windows were sound proof when closed. The staff were generally helpful. We had a roomy queen-sized bed and a large bathroom and lounge chair. On the other hand, the curtains looked as though they had not been cleaned in years - I hate decorative comforters and curtains because they are generally washed infrequently and this place had both. I would recommend this place because of its location. I think that this hotel was more of a three star hotel by American standards - i.e., using Hyatt, Marriott, Best Western, etc.,as a barometer or range of quality, however in Amsterdam this hotel could probably be accurately described as a four star using European standards, i.e., no restaurant or bar, small hotel rooms and bathrooms and tiny beds.

ottimo albergo centralissimo,possibilita’ di far colazione in camera usando lo scalda acqua in dotazione.la colazione e’ infatti cara ,e sprecata specie per noi italiani non abituati ad ingurgitare tutta quella roba...meglio il fai da te. utilissimo il servizio di concierge
