Perfekter Ausgangspunkt für jeden Romtrip!
Von Anfang bis Ende ein tolles Hotel. Wir wurden hervorragend bedient, mussten nie warten. Das Personal war immer hilfsbereit und geduldig. Wir haben tolle Tipps bekommen hinsichtlich Restaurant und Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auch der Wunsch nach einer Vespa wurde sehr kurzfristig (innerhalb von 30min war die Vespa vorm Hotel) erfüllt. Einfach spitze. Die Zimmer waren groß, sauber und der Zimmerservice sehr flott. Wenn wir vom (sehr guten und reichhaltigen) Frühstück zurück kamen, war das Zimmer meist schon fertig. Die Lage ist einfach phänomenal. Mitten in Rom, an der Rückwand des Forum Romanums, großartig. Das Hotel war die Ausgangsbasis für einen perfekten Romurlaub und wir kommen garantiert zurück!

"Would definately go back!!!"
Our room was perfect for me and my husband’s 5 day stay. It was very clean and modern, with a lovely shower. I was a bit concerned about the bed as reviews said they were hard. They’re fairly hard, but i got out of bed without the stiffness in my back i normally feel and my husband suffers from back problems so it was perfect for him. The hotel restaurant and bar seemed quite pricey, but this was our first experience in a 4 star hotel and the service made it worth the money we paid. Restaurant and bar staff gave warm Italian service. Considering it’s 4 star I think our price for 5 days stay was great value. The Colloseum is a 10 minute walk away, with the roman forum at your doorstep. For a good view though I recommend you get a room above the first floor, and from the local Piazza Venezia the other main attractions are in walking distance, everything is closer than they make it look on the tour bus maps, except maybe the Vatican City which is a bit further out, so save your money and walk. Staff at the hotel were more than happy to give directions and recommend restaurants, one of which we dined at was fantastic. There aren’t many restaurants in the vacinity but Trastevere is only a 15 minute walk away across the river with plenty of restaurants to choose from. Overall my husband and I were very happy with the hotel and would go back again and recommend it to our friends.

Excellent hotel, great location
The hotel is newly refurbished to an excellent standard while retaining many original features. The room was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioning was a little haphazard, but did not detract from the stay. Breakfast was advertised as continental but included cooked eggs, bacon and sausages. Very good selection of food. We did not have the opportunity to try the dinner menu in the restaurant. The location is excellent, right next door to the forum and within approx. 40 mins walk to most of the main sights. Highly recommended.
