Excellent hotel! Great Location!
When looking to book a holiday to Barcelona, we specifically wanted to stay in the main area. This hotel met all our expectations of a 5* hotel and was situated on the main street - La Ramblas! WHen we arrived at the hotel, we checked in easily, our room wasn’t ready as we arrived early, however, our luggage was stored and we went for a drink in the cafe opposite. Room was clean, spacious and the bed was very comfy. We were on a high level and towards the back of the hotel, so didn’t hear any of the noise from the street that doesn’t sleep. We had a fantastic time in Barcelona, Hotel staff were always willing to help and give advice! Underground metro easy to use. Parc Guell a is a lovely day out! Tip: Drinks in cafe’s can be expensive, we ordered 2 cokes and cost us 15 euros (the drinks were big but that meant we left half of the glass) coming to more than the food we had ordered. Beautiful location, we had a fantastic holiday! Thank you Le Meridien and Expedia!

Poor concierge services that ruined our trip....
Our room was great....we had a balcony overlooking the city. Room service was fast, friendly, and somewhat accurate. The location was perfect for sightseeing, because it is very central....but you literally walk out of the hotel into the craziness of Las Ramblas. We read the reviews and saw that people had problems with the concierge services.....it was HORRIBLE. First of all, there were so many different concierges and one would say one thing, and then the next day another would contradict the first. Secondly, we were sent to awful restaurants on their recommendation. But worst of all, they failed to organize a private wine tour for us even though we had asked them to do so earlier in the trip....the concierge we spoke with that day did not know anything about what the previous one had offered us. Overall, the room was nice but the poor service ruined parts of our trip....I would not recommend this hotel.

Great location
Modern hotel and lobby. Room as expected, large junior suite. Good breakfast in the hotel, especially the chef’s special menu. EXCELLENT location, right on La Rambla, central to everything in Barcelona. Can walk to Plaza Catalunya where most tours leave from and can walk to the port.
