Extremely happy with hotel, although rooms not as flash as reception would indicate
Excellant breakfast, and to have lunch included was a real bonus.So great being just a few steps from the centre of the city.

Hotel reception staff very helpful with ’what to do’s. I did google ’must sees’ in Buenos Aires, which was also very helpful

Convenient location
The RH Rochester Classic is located in the Retiro neighborhood of Buenos Aires. It is conveniently located across from a Subte station and there are plenty of taxis available nearby. Ave 9 de Julio and Florida Street are a short walk away. The check-in process was hassle free and very welcoming. The rooms were accomodating and clean, but the TV would lose reception at times. There is a mini fridge available, but no iron/ironing board. Free wireless internet is available, however it is only offered in the main lobby. I never had an opportunity to try the free breakfast/lunch since I could never wake up in time! Overall, it is a great place to stay at this price point.

Excellent hotel for the price paid
Moderately priced hotel in the very center of everything. Just one corner with Lavalle st and two blocks away from Florida st, both walking and business centers. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Half pension lunch was OK but not much to select from. Friendly general staff, but not so friendly managers. Eventhough we stayed 15 days at hotel, Food and Drink Manager & Security Manager NEVER greeted or smiled at us. We seemed to be like transparent persons to them. There is a permanent security guard near entrance, but don’t expect no matter what - that he will open the door for you.
We have plenty of time to visit all mayor attractions in the area. Be aware that prices can change depending on you nationality. You can get better ticket prices if you find someone local buy them for you. Don’t take the open top bus rides, otherwise you will NOT get to know BsAs. Take you time, walk around, talk to people, take the subway - and you will get to know the real Argentina. People are friendly and helpfull. Obviously don’t get late at nigth on dark streets and don’t show to much jewelry or money. US dollars are generally acepted, but it is easier to use "pesos" and more secure. Look out for funny money, the are some good color-photocopies. Learn how to recognice the real ones.
