Great Place to Stay in Grand Cayman
The hotel staff were friendly & helpful. We dined two nights at the Cafe Havana, the food was great. The hotel and grounds were well kept, our room was clean and very comfortable. I liked the hotel location-Seven Mile Beach is lovely. I would definately go back!

Well run hotel
There were 4 business meetings going on when we checked in and were there almost all week. However this had no impact on our stay other than the usual finding a lounge at the pool. Pool lounges were padded and covered full length with towels so all you had to do was find one and relax. There were always plenty of towels and lounges (not padded) for the beach. Towels and linens in the room were always replaced. This is an eco-friendly facility and if you want fresh sheets you placed the card on the bed and the towels on the floor. We were on the 5th floor and it took about 2 minutes to get to the beach. Plenty of room to lay out and bake. Beach was clean and the sand was not hot. Food and drink service provided on the beach and at the pool. They also have Cabana’s available for rent on the beach. Most of the restaurants were further down 7MB towards George Town. But a 10 to 30 minute walk got you to enough of them, including Hemingway’s, that you had a variety. Unlike some islands I felt totally safe walking even late at night. The streets were well lit and there were sidewalks all the way. They do drive on the "other" side of the road so be careful when crossing the street. Prices for everything were obscene, but no more so than anywhere else I have been for vacation in the last 5 years. Hey, I’m laying on the beach instead of home shoveling snow. Deal with it, accept it and enjoy yourself.

Cant wait to go back!!!!
The area was simply gorgeous. The hotel was very, very nice. The staff was wonderful. The food was great. We really do look forward to going back and highly recomend the Westin.
