Price was right and location good
General general condition was not good. There were cracks in the tile in the bathroom, no easy chair to set in, the window did not close completely. I had to ask twice to get tissue in the bathroom. Bed was comfortable. The front desk was unable to give me information about the subway system.

One of the worst hotels in NY
The room was not clean, the bed quality was really bad. No internet access at room, no coffeepot. In general, poor condition. The only good thing is hotel location.

not what i thought it would be
being right acroos the street from the most famous venmue in the world: Madison Square Garden, you would think this 1700 room hoitel would be in good condition. It wasn’t at all. Our first room had a mattress that was sunk in the middle that gave it a "U" shape and the entertainment center had panels missing oout of the doors. The room was small and raggedy. The second room was bigger but empty and the television didnt work. I would not reccomend this hotel to anyone. The sad thing about it is that my fiancee lived in NY all his life and always wanted to stay at this hotel. Needless to say he was very disappointed.
