Great place to stay when visiting DC
Did a lot of research, and this has to be the best place to stay in suburban DC. Its a fairly new, clean property, next to the Metro, fairly quiet, and has some great new restaurants down the street. Plus, the price is very affordable on weekends. We intend to stay there anytime we’re in the DC area from now on.

Next to Metro 20-30 min ride to D.C., nice hotel, good price
PROS - Underground Parking Lot, great when you get snowed in!!! Nice clean rooms. Big rooms. Great service. 2 minutes from Metro station (subways are clean). Fast 20-30 min ride to D.C. Nice gym, dumbell set, elliptical, bikes, treadmills. Nice pool and nice hot tub. CONS - NO MICROWAVE IN ROOMS!!! Bar was closed during my Christmas stay. $5 a beer at the bar (it was open the first night), VERY EXPENSIVE at hotel snack shop, be sure to bring your own snacks and drinks(soda, tea, alcohol), Subway station is above ground (above ground stations can be closed during extreme weather conditions, like blizzards, but most museums are also closed during these conditions, so you’ll be stuck in the hotel anyways)

Very nice place to stay - would go again
I really liked this hotel. It was clean and quiet, had friendly and helpful staff, and was within walking distance of the metro. There were 3 or 4 computers with free internet access in the main lobby. There was a small indoor pool and a small exercise room, which we did not use but that looked clean and nice, and even had a lifeguard on duty. Positives: free parking, with an underground parking garage. This really saved our skins because we were there during the blizzard of Dec. 2009 and didn’t have to dig our car out! Nice clean room, comfortable king sized bed, nice TV, great shower with excellent water pressure, overall very quiet, close to metro, free coffee and tea in dining room. Negatives: Breakfast price is rather high, no room service on weekends, no restaurants within easy walking distance, no dinner available during holiday dates.
